I kept wondering why they call Eton City as the Makati of the South. But after seeing the under construction Ayala Mall yesterday, I wonder no more... I mean, the place is so cool, will be much more beautiful (in my opinion) than all the Ayala Malls in Manila put together. It is still under construction but you can already see and visualize how it would look like when construction finishes. It has a man-made river with boats where you could have a boat ride for only 20 pesos I think. Some of the stores are already open and some are still under construction. We had the luck of having lunch at the newly-opened Contis. It is just beside the man-made river. I am sure that it would look very cozy at night, perfect for dates :)
The food at Contis is great! But what I love the most are their cakes!!! OMG! They are mouth-watering, really! There were 5 of us so we ordered 5 different cakes each. I only managed to take photos of the first 3 cakes. I was so busy eating after they served the desserts :) Too bad, I wasn't able to capture Mango Bravo, their bestseller cake :) Anyway, take my word for it. The cakes actually melt in your mouth (hahaha) I could hardly breathe after lunch :)
I am starting to appreciate Laguna again. Where else can you see the entire clear skyline, the green trees everywhere? The air is fresh...
All I need now is to find happiness in my work, which is proving to be more and more difficult as days pass by...

My gawd, they have Conti's near your workplace?? I love the cakes there! Yeah bestseller is the Mango Bravo, we usually buy that during special occasions, but of course it costs a lot.. xD I love it especially the different layers of it, although it hurts my gums when it's too cold, xD I think it's an ice cream cake because if you don't keep it in the freezer, it will melt and will be too soft and mushy.
Yeah the pictures look perfect for a night date.. xD where exactly is it in Laguna? I hope there are passenger jeepneys or buses which will pass that route? So we can also visit there!
You know, I've watched in some anime, and it seems there are shops in Japan which serve a cake buffet (dunno if that's real) but I'd really loooove that.. xD good for sweet tooth like us! Hehehe this is exactly why I'm fat right now...
