LSS: "Love, look at the two of us"

I have a last song syndrome today (lolz)... I heard this song while I am on my way home...
==========================================================================

LOVE, LOOK AT THE TWO OF US

Shirley Bassey
The Carpenters - 1971

Love, look at the two of us
Strangers in many ways
We've got a lifetime to share
So much to say
And as we go
From day to day
I'll feel you close to me
But time alone will tell
Let's take a lifetime to say
"I knew you well"
For only time
Will tell us so
And love may grow
For all we know
Love, look at the two of us
Strangers in many ways
Let's take a lifetime to say
"I knew you well"
For only time
Will tell us so
And love may grow
For all we know

Strangers (strangers, strangers)
For all we know

... and there goes the brain

My brain has finally awaken now! And it is working very logically as before... And now that it is back on its track, it can't help but ask me, "What have you done?"

I am trying to fix the error that I committed. It has a domino effect. So now, I am doing what I should have done almost 2 months ago...

I hope I could rectify things...

PTO agad

Grabe! Kakaumpisa ko pa lang sa bagong trabaho ko, PTO na agad ako today hahaha!!!

Our Sun rising at the horizon of Eton City

I don't know if anyone had noticed this but I think our sun is getting bigger, or at least looks bigger and redder than the sun few years back.

I remember one article that I read about our sun being a nova, and time will come that it would become a supernova, but it will take millions of years...

That is my thought every morning when I see the sun rising in the East... Well, as I remembered it perfectly before (say, 7 years ago, or even more, the sun is not that reddish in the morning. I mean, it is light orange in the morning, and a bit red orange during sunset. And the round shape during sunrise is not that sharp or distinct... The sun during sunrise now looks exactly like the sun during sunset, which I found unusual... Or maybe I am just hallucinating? But I don't think so. I had been traveling very early in the morning everyday since I started with my new job and I can't help but notice it. And I also traveled with the same schedule I have now few years ago that is why I noticed...

The rising sun is very visible on our way to Eton City and Greenfield City. It is very beautiful actually but there goes, I just noticed the difference of our sun in the present time compared with the sun before.

Laughter and tears (of joy)

I had forgotten how nice it is to have a light workload, the time that you could laugh, joke around and work at the same time! I am experiencing it again with my team mates.

I am the only girl in the team. Hahaha! I'd say it has some advantages and disadvantages. My colleagues are so sweet, protective and they always make me laugh.. I mean, I feel like I am a younger sister and I have several big brothers...

We are doing some testing today, it is quite easy actually, you don't have to think that much. So we have time to joke around and tease each other while doing the work.

Then it so happened that there is one foreigner (we don't know what his nationality is) in the other cubicle. He stood up. Then one of my colleagues got so surprised hahaha. He said, "I thought he is Jesus Christ! Is it holy week already?" Hahaha! Then we saw that the guy really has a resemblance... We were laughing too much, I can't help but cry hahaha... Well, those are tears of joy, really :)

Then it all started again, the jokes and all that while working! Hahaha! The guys are so funny... And the lunchtime is very entertaining too! I mean, I think they are too tired of me complaining about the food so we always try different places during lunch... The guys also take turns bringing their cars everyday so that we could go places.

Tomorrow, we will go back to TRAVELLERS!!! I cannot wait! and for sure, it will be filled with laughter again!

The second week

Everything is sinking in right now... I would say that I am doing better than the last few weeks. Maybe because I am starting to accept things as they are... And perhaps that is what fresh air does to your idle brain...

Come to think of it, things are not as bad as they look... I mean, I get a much higher salary for a work that seems easier, there are less expenses (the food is cheap, no malls, no transpo fare) and I get to drink lots of different coffee and chocolate drink :))

I am not getting my allergies now, maybe because I am away from pollutants and smoke...

And I am getting used to waking up early in the morning like I used to before... My body clock is adjusting already. And my eyes are getting used to this small laptop I am using :))

So, all in all.. things are not that bad... I am still lucky, thank God! :)

I will just make myself excited for the new things that I will discover and test... like this iphone thingy... I already experienced testing applications in pocket pc, must be cool to try it on iphone :)

I really hope everything will turn out well :)

Drastic changes

BEFORE:
1. Sleeveless
2. Malls, walking distance
3. Variety of food
4. Elevators
5. Escalators
6. Windy places
7. Sunny and hot morning
8. Dark after office hours. Sometimes moonless, sometimes not...
9. Late to bed, late to rise
10. Traffic jam, faulty buses, pollution...

NOW:
1. JACKETS! and not just jackets but REAALLLL jackets.
2. Building here, building there, building everywhere. Malls? You need a car to get to the nearest mall.
3. Huhuhu... Canteen only. Again, you need a car to get to the nearest food junction or mall. Or you just have to order something from fast food if you don't want to eat anything from the canteen.
4. Elevators? What elevators?
5. Escalators? What escalators? WE MEAN STAIRS
6. Ha! You won't notice if the wind is blowing because you won't be outside the building long enough
7. Nice sunshine, good for the health. It is not that hot at 6am, is it?
8. Nice sunset, very romantic.
9. Early to bed, early to rise, makes Annie still very sleepy...
10. No traffic, no bus- hassle... Hmmmm... one of the good points

There, I summarized it. Hehehe.. What a change of lifestyle!

LIttle Wonders :)

I feel like a mess since Thursday. Perhaps, I am not yet fine as I thought I was. Then, I started doing simple things this weekend and checked my movie list. As it turned out, I still have so many .avi's and .mpeg's to watch. One of my oldest friends gave me those movies a long long time ago... It is only today that I managed to watch at least 2 of them and I am glad I did.

I still have teary eyes from "Meet the Robinsons". The song I particularly like as well as the message that the movie is trying to convey. It is a very nice and touching movie and I can relate to the message.

Here is the catchy line at the end of the movie:

Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. KEEP MOVING FORWARD -- Walt Disney

I am now back to my senses... I learned important lessons and I will keep learning.

And here is the very heartwarming song from the movie, feel each line of the lyrics, it goes right through the heart :)

ゆずれない願い - Yuzurenai negai

I was still a student when I first heard this song from a popular anime... I really don't watch the anime but I like the opening song because it made me dance :D

Until now, when I am feeling so blue, I just play this music and dance to it just like the old days and I feel happy :)

One of my Japanese friends told me the real meaning of the lyrics. It is a love song...

This is another version... I love this one, it is so nice. It features the earth and the moon :)

Rainy Monday

I woke up early today as usual with a light heart, a good mood but with a runny nose and a sore throat. Hahahah! What a treat! I had not been working for several days now and my brain is so idle so to speak that I am starting to feel the boredom getting into my nerves already. So I decided to just finish the book that I was reading (and I managed to finish it in 2 hours time) and go to a botanical garden just to have a nice touch with nature... But then, there goes the weather, mocking at me. IT is raining and it just won't stop! So much for my nature tripping, I guess I have to postpone it to another day. Perhaps tomorrow, I just hope that the sun will smile tomorrow :)

Well, the day is not a total waste, no, I won't allow it of course. I have a nice ration of chips and some rootbeers and a couple of movies that are waiting for me to watch! So, I will just wash the day away with chips, drinks and movies!

Damn... it is still raining... I happen to love rainy days but not today. I really wish to go to a botanical garden with the sun as my ally. I don't want to roam the forestry with an umbrella :))
