BEFORE:
1. Sleeveless
2. Malls, walking distance
3. Variety of food
4. Elevators
5. Escalators
6. Windy places
7. Sunny and hot morning
8. Dark after office hours. Sometimes moonless, sometimes not...
9. Late to bed, late to rise
10. Traffic jam, faulty buses, pollution...
NOW:
1. JACKETS! and not just jackets but REAALLLL jackets.
2. Building here, building there, building everywhere. Malls? You need a car to get to the nearest mall.
3. Huhuhu... Canteen only. Again, you need a car to get to the nearest food junction or mall. Or you just have to order something from fast food if you don't want to eat anything from the canteen.
4. Elevators? What elevators?
5. Escalators? What escalators? WE MEAN STAIRS
6. Ha! You won't notice if the wind is blowing because you won't be outside the building long enough
7. Nice sunshine, good for the health. It is not that hot at 6am, is it?
8. Nice sunset, very romantic.
9. Early to bed, early to rise, makes Annie still very sleepy...
10. No traffic, no bus- hassle... Hmmmm... one of the good points
There, I summarized it. Hehehe.. What a change of lifestyle!

LIttle Wonders :)
I feel like a mess since Thursday. Perhaps, I am not yet fine as I thought I was. Then, I started doing simple things this weekend and checked my movie list. As it turned out, I still have so many .avi's and .mpeg's to watch. One of my oldest friends gave me those movies a long long time ago... It is only today that I managed to watch at least 2 of them and I am glad I did.
I still have teary eyes from "Meet the Robinsons". The song I particularly like as well as the message that the movie is trying to convey. It is a very nice and touching movie and I can relate to the message.
Here is the catchy line at the end of the movie:
I am now back to my senses... I learned important lessons and I will keep learning.
And here is the very heartwarming song from the movie, feel each line of the lyrics, it goes right through the heart :)

Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. KEEP MOVING FORWARD -- Walt Disney

ゆずれない願い - Yuzurenai negai
I was still a student when I first heard this song from a popular anime... I really don't watch the anime but I like the opening song because it made me dance :D
Until now, when I am feeling so blue, I just play this music and dance to it just like the old days and I feel happy :)
One of my Japanese friends told me the real meaning of the lyrics. It is a love song...
This is another version... I love this one, it is so nice. It features the earth and the moon :)

Rainy Monday
I woke up early today as usual with a light heart, a good mood but with a runny nose and a sore throat. Hahahah! What a treat! I had not been working for several days now and my brain is so idle so to speak that I am starting to feel the boredom getting into my nerves already. So I decided to just finish the book that I was reading (and I managed to finish it in 2 hours time) and go to a botanical garden just to have a nice touch with nature... But then, there goes the weather, mocking at me. IT is raining and it just won't stop! So much for my nature tripping, I guess I have to postpone it to another day. Perhaps tomorrow, I just hope that the sun will smile tomorrow :)
Well, the day is not a total waste, no, I won't allow it of course. I have a nice ration of chips and some rootbeers and a couple of movies that are waiting for me to watch! So, I will just wash the day away with chips, drinks and movies!
Damn... it is still raining... I happen to love rainy days but not today. I really wish to go to a botanical garden with the sun as my ally. I don't want to roam the forestry with an umbrella :))

Life so simple
I worked in the city for almost 6 years. I would say that my entire testing career revolved in the city.. Here is a simple summary:
1. Ortigas -- 2 years
2. Alabang -- 5 months
3. Back to Ortigas -- 3 months
4. Makati -- 1 year and a half
5. Back to Alabang -- 1 year and a half
Now, in one week time, I will be back to Laguna where I started my work life... I had almost forgotten how simple life was before... I had been so trusting then, not cynical.
But hey, I will be back and I wish that it will be far better this time :)
I missed the happy days...

Of LIght and Shade over life's difficulties
"Strong people make mistakes like weak people do. The difference is: Strong people admit them, laugh at them and learn from them. That is how they become strong."
"The important thing is not to be bitter over life's difficulties. Learn to let go of the past and recognize that everyday won't be sunny and when you find yourself lost in darkness and despair, remember - its only in the black of night that you can see the stars and those stars will lead you back home. So don't be afraid to make mistakes, to stumble and to fall. Because most of the times, the greatest rewards come from doing things that scare you the most."
